The Owls fell to the Cornell Raiders, 66-46, in the Western Quarter-Finals, finishing the 1999-00 season.  The guys finished their season with a record of 23-5!!! Congratulations to the team on a great season!! 

Harmony heads to second round in PIAA State Play-Offs tonight against WPIAL Champions Cornell. The Boys will be playing at Greensburg Salem High School. Game time is set for 7:30. 

OWLS DEFEATED IROQUOIS HIGH SCHOOL OF ERIE 66-59 IN DOUBLE OVERTIME AT IUP IN THE FIRST ROUND OF THE PIAA STATE PLAYOFFS.  THIS IS THE FIRST TIME THE OWLS GIRLS AND BOYS EVER WON A STATE PLAY-OFF GAME. 

Harmony heads to the DISTRICT VI CLASS A Championship Game...

Congratulations to the varsity boys basketball team as they beat Bishop Guilfoyle in an exciting overtime game.  The final score was 64-61 in favor of the Owls.  The owls now also advance to the PIAA State Playoffs.  First, they play in the District VI Championship on Saturday Night at St. Francis College at 8:00 pm.  They will play the Saltsburg Trojans (26-1).

 1999-2000 Boys Schedule and Scores

Congratulations to the varsity boys as they became the first Harmony Boys Basketball Team to ever win 20 games  in one season.  Randy McCullough and James Stiver both made their senior nights special as they had career high scoring games.  Randy tossed in 32 points and James had 31 points to go along with an amazing 17 assists and 8 rebounds.  Jason Stiver also came close to a triple double as he tossed in 28 points, grabbed 12 steals and 9 rebounds.  Kevin tossed in 10 points as the owls defeated the Vikings 116-66.  The Owls finished their regular season with a 20-3 record and now face Conemaugh Valley on Thursday Night at Cambria Heights.  Game time is 7:30.  Thanks to all the outstanding fans for a great senior night and congratulations to all our senior athletes.

Harmony All-Time Scoring Leaders

  Congratulations to the Varsity Boys Basketball Team as they established a new school record for wins in a regular season as they won their 18th game.  The Owls moved to 6-0 in the Moshannon Valley League with a 66-41 victory over MoValley.  Jason Stiver led the Owls with 19 points.  He was one of four double digit scorers.  Randy McCullough scored 13, James Stiver 12 and Michael meterko added 10.  Kaylan Coble, Derek Thomas and Justin Spaid contributed baskets off the bench.  The Owls are now 18-3 and host Kiski on Monday Night. 

 The JV Owls won again last night as they beat MoValley 51-44.  Kaylan Coble scored a season  high 15 points and Derek Thomas added 14 in the win.
