Introduction

 

Did you know there are 7,000 unintentional teen deaths each year?  In fact, preventable injuries are the leading cause of death for children under the age of 14...not drugs, gangs, or disease - injuries. How can you help prevent yourself and your classmates from these injuries?  By learning safety tips and messages and using them to help prevent accidents. 

     The following Internet activities are designed to help you learn about safety at home. You may complete all or some specific activities that are assigned to you. Remember, these tips could save your life someday!! 

DIRECTIONS: After viewing the following websites write or type in WORD five facts you found from each topic. (fire, poison, swimming, bike writing) You will need these for your task at the end of this activity.  Good Luck and have fun!
