EXIT CRITERIA

__________________School District             ESL Multiple Exit Criteria Evaluation

Students will be monitored for two years after being exited. PSSA data will be maintained in the STSD shared calendar for students who were exited to continue to monitor student progress with the purposeful intention of returning to the ESL program if needed.

Students will be recommended (ESL Level Change Form) to exit the ESOL Program only if the following criteria are met:

 percentile on Terra Nova in reading and students will score of a PROFICIENT level on PSSA. Students score Level 5 - bridging, Tier Level B, on the WIDA Access test. The maximum overall composite language proficiency score that a student taking the Kindergarten form of ACCESS can receive is 3.7. A kindergarten student must achieve a minimum oral language score of 3.8 and a composite score of 2.7.
